What is the traineeship?

Undertaken over two years, the Division Two traineeship gives participants the fantastic opportunity to combine nursing theory and practical experience while receiving a full-time trainee wage, culminating in a Certificate IV in Nursing.

Participants complete an initial three weeks of nursing theory, then follow through with one day a week at university, and four days a week in the acute care clinical situation for the remainder of the two years. Currently clinical rotations are of 12 months duration.
