Day surgery

What is day surgery?

Minor operative procedures are performed under general or local anaesthetic in day procedure units at all three campuses. The procedures are short and the patient is not required to stay overnight.

Our units

Day surgery is performed in modern facilities with professional staff responsible for your care and wellbeing. The units are open from 7am Monday to Friday.

Discharge

After your surgery, it is important that a friend or family member accompanies you home and that they remain with you for at least 24 hours following your procedure.
