Pastoral care

Our Pastoral Care team provides a unique service of support, companionship and sacramental care to all patients and their relatives. Pastoral care staff can contact denominational clergy on your request.

Pastoral care is an integral part of our service and an important link with our religious foundation. Our team comprises priests, ministers, religious sisters and lay people who provide spiritual and emotional support, along with sacramental ministry.

Among other values, pastoral care demonstrates:

• dedication to human dignity,
• appreciation of individual and cultural differences,
• balance of acceptance and accountability,
• dedication to justice and mercy, and
• incarnation of love and hope.

There is a Chapel on the ground floor of both campuses, to the immediate right of the entrance. Patients, family and friends are welcome to attend mass, which is celebrated daily. Mass times are available upon request.
